Attending a Web Monday in Germany

The “movement” Web Monday is established in Germany. This Monday I attended this event in Aachen and also held a short presentation (Video-link, I still speak pretty poor German. Slides here) on Swedish Web 2.0-services. More about this event here and here.

What I found most interesting is what Til Achinger and Tamer El-Hawari currently are creating with “coffee 2.0” or Sonntagmorgen as they prefer to call it. They will send you your personal “blend” of Coffee, in your personally chosen bag straight to your door. The coffee tastes super and the services sounds awesome to me; not only as presents but also for ppl like me who doesn’t really drink coffee as a standard habit, but for special occasions. I will follow the development of Sonntagmorgen, and for sure, keep you up to date on it!

Perhaps even more interesting is the nice mix of people showing up at these kind of events; people really interested in new technology, designers, entrepreneurs, coders…

Great discussions and great beer, thanks everybody for this great arrangement!
