WiMAX in Tajikistan

As some of you know I worked on a WiMAX roll-out for Babilon-T (-M) this summer in Tajikistan. It now seems that they have changed partner from Alvarion (which was the provider of the first test-network that I worked with) to the Chinese provider Huawei. More on this topic in this article. More on Huawei here, here and here (all three in Swedish).

Huawei also builds new networks for MegaFon in Russia together with Nokia Siemens Networks. Just look at this (link in German) and this. Maybe it’s time to learn some Mandarin?
